“Dr. Havemann recently performed TPLO surgery on our 3 ½-year-old (at the time) English bulldog. We live in North Central Pennsylvania and drove nearly 400 miles to have the surgery done.
Dr. Havemann is hands down the best in and around the area. Her knowledge, honesty, gentleness, and kindness toward animals are second to none. She was available and supportive the entire time of recovery. She was even available by text so we could text pictures and chat whenever we had concerns.
I loved the app she had to communicate and learn what to expect on a daily basis and to be able to send a progress report and videos of our big boy.
We can’t say enough good things about Dr. Havemann. We had questions early on and throughout the entire recovery process. She quickly responded to all our questions and concerns.
Our veterinarian back home classified her as a ‘great surgeon’ after looking at the incision. She used internal stitches which healed nicely. He said the incision was so incredibly small. He gave her a ten out of ten!
She made this experience much more positive than we were anticipating. We would certainly recommend her services to anyone who asks.”
“I have been working with Dr. Havemann for many years now. I have been in the veterinary industry for 11 years and have worked with MANY doctors. Dr. Havemann has been the best, most thorough, most compassionate, and friendly doctor I’ve ever worked with. It’s the reason I’ve worked with her for so long. She has a way of befriending and teaching everyone around her. She’s very intelligent and takes every one of her surgeries very seriously. “I reached out to Dr. Havemann when my dog was dealing with an ulcerated, bleeding mass on his paw pad. My primary vet did not feel confident removing the mass due to its location and size. Dr. Havemann not only responded to my request in a timely manner, but she was also able to get my dog scheduled for his surgery within a few days. Prior to surgery, Dr. Haveman thoroughly discussed the procedure and the possible outcomes (good and bad) of the surgery. The surgery went well, and my dog was able to go home the same day. Throughout the entire process, Dr. Havemann was professional, knowledgeable, and compassionate.”
